One of the best parts of growing up during the holiday season was grabbing a bright red Sharpie and circling everything you wanted in the latest Toys “R” Us catalog. Or maybe that was before your time, and you grew up adding things straight to your mom’s Amazon wishlist. Either way, the thrill of seeing what Santa might deliver each year (assuming you’d made the nice list) was unbeatable.
Of course, sometimes Santa couldn’t handle hundreds of red marks on glossy pages (okay, maybe you were a little… ambitious). But here’s the good news: now you’re an adult with an adult credit card, at least, I hope you are if you’re reading Rolling Stone. That means you can buy all the things you circled for yourself, especially LEGO sets, which are currently marked down for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Right now, you can treat yourself (or someone on your list) to a new LEGO set for up to 50% off during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You read that right. Typically, LEGO kits can run from $25 for smaller builds to well over $100 for the large, intricate ones (the most expensive set ever sold for $10,000). But we’ve found deals ranging from just $10 to $150, leaving room in your budget for whatever else your holiday shopping entails.
LEGO Disney Cruella De Vil’s Car Building Toy
$34.99 $49.99 30% off
➤ Best for ages 9+
This year’s best LEGO deals include everything from Disney classics — like Cruella De Vil’s iconic red car — to botanical flowers, iconic city skylines, and popular fandoms. Most of these kits are designed for adults (ages 18 and above), but there are plenty of options for builders of all experience levels.
If you’re new to LEGO, there’s never been a better time to start. A recent article published by the National Institute for Play highlighted the mental health and cognitive benefits that playful activities, such as building toys and entertaining yourself with board games, can provide. “Engaging in playful activities helps adults cope with stress and enhances mood,” the article states. It can also “trigger the release of endorphins, reducing cortisol levels, and fostering relaxation,” it continues. In short, play isn’t just for kids; it’s good for your mental well-being, too.
LEGO Speed Champions Aston Martin Safety Car

➤ Best for ages 9+
Beyond the positive mental effects LEGO can have, they’re also a great keepsake to display once your masterpiece is complete — whether it’s on your desk, bookshelf, or even inside one of those special coffee tables designed to showcase your pièce de résistance. You can check out some of these options during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
And let’s be honest — at the end of the day, building LEGO sets is just plain fun. You don’t need a reason beyond the joy (and dopamine boost) that comes from snapping those bricks together. So go ahead — grab your favorite LEGO sets on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday while they’re still in stock, and spend your adult money wisely this season.
