Installing artwork or framed concert posters on your wall can be a frustrating task, but luckily the best picture framing and hanging kits make it a breeze. Here’s what you need to know about buying one for your DIY project.

Picture Framing Kit Buying Guide

If you’ve ever tried hanging artwork by yourself, there’s a good chance you’ve nailed a few different holes in the wall before finding the right position for your frame. The best picture hanging kits are easy-to-use toolkits that have everything you need to correctly hang a picture frame and make sure everything is level before you hammer into the wall.

Most kits include pieces like nails, picture framing hooks, wires, and a level ruler. The best kits will come with a variety of differently sized picture framing hooks. Different-sized hooks support frames of different weights, so having your choice of hooks is important. Once the frame is in place, you can use the level ruler to make sure that the frame looks straight.

To use most of the kits, you simply place it where you want to hang your picture on the wall, then mark the spots using built-in nails to make your initial marks on the wall.

Once you get your picture framing kit, you can correctly hang your picture frames without guessing where to put the nail or screw in the wall.
