Since its release, Charli XCX‘s latest album has had everyone and their mother living their best “Brat Summer” life, with bold, lime green shades and Y2K vibes galore. But the “360” singer is now keeping things very mindful, very demure with her latest campaign posing for Skims’ minimalist cotton collection.

As the internet’s favorite “it girl”, it’s no surprise Kim Kardashian would tap Charli XCX to star in the shapewear brand’s latest campaign, which sees the singer donning Skims‘ new Cotton Rib and Cotton Fleece styles. Shot by decorated photographer Petra Collins, her carefree and rebellious spirit shines through in the series of dreamlike, dog-days-of-summer photos wearing the Cotton Rib Split Bralette, Cotton Rib Boxer, Cotton Fleece Shrunken Waffle Lined Zip Up Hoodie and Cotton Rib Bikini.

“SKIMS empowers people to feel confident in their own skin, which is the essence of Brat,”said Charli XCX in a statement. “I am excited to be working with a brand that understands that comfort and style don’t need to be compromised. Shooting with Petra for this campaign was a dream and I was so excited to get on set and wear these timeless, sexy pieces. Also the puppies were beyond cute.”

The Charli XCX x Skims Cotton collection will be available to shop at Skims.com on Wednesday, August 21st, and comes off the heels of the singer embarking with Troye Sivan on the co-headlining Sweat tour, making stops throughout North American in September and October. The two had previously collabed six years ago in October 2018 on the track “1999,” which appeared on the album Charli. Less than a year later, they joined forces again for the sequel single “2099.”

These past few months, Charli has collaborated with everyone from Billie Eilish to Lorde, but her influence extends far beyond music, inspiring bold and unapologetic style trends that clearly caught the eye of fashion mogul Kardashian. “Having Charli XCX as the face of our new Skims campaign is so exciting. She is a one of a kind talent who has truly cemented herself as a megastar within music and beyond” stated Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Skims in a press release. “This is such an exciting time for the brand, and we are honored Charli and Petra chose to collaborate with us as Skims is always trying to highlight individuals at the forefront of culture.”

Charli is the latest in a line of buzzy pop culture icons stepping into Skims’ elevated loungewear looks. Recently, Sabrina Carpenter starred in a campaign for the brand’s Stretch Lace and Fits Everybody collection ahead of the release of her album Short n’ Sweet, along with Nicola Coughlan in the Soft Lounge collection and Lana Del Rey as the face of Skims’ Valentine’s Day campaign.

Ready for a comfy, cozy Brat fall? Be sure to save your favorite styles from the Charli XCX x Skims collection before they drop (and inevitably sell out) starting August 21 at 12 p.m. ET here.
