How to Watch American Idol Season 23 Online Without Cable
New episodes of American Idol Season 23 will air on ABC. Episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu, but not till the day after they air on ABC. If you want to stream new episodes of American Idol Season 23 right when they come out, get a live TV streaming service that carries ABC. Here are some of our favorites:
Fubo
Fubo carries ABC in all of its packages for streams of American Idol Season 23. Plans start at $84.99 a month, but you get a seven-day free trial and $20 off your first bill.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV is another one of our favorite cable streaming solutions. It carries ABC in its lineup of 95+ channels, and includes ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu’s on-demand catalog at no additional cost. All of this is $82.99 a month and starts with a three-day free trial.
DirecTV Stream
You can also stream American Idol Season 23 on DirecTV Stream, which carries ABC in its Entertainment package. This plan starts with a five-day free trial and costs $86.99 a month after that.
Sling
A more affordable cable streaming service is Sling, which has packages starting at $46 a month. ABC is available in Sling’s 46-channel Blue plan. Sling doesn’t currently offer a free trial, but you do get 50% off your first month.
American Idol Season 23 Release Date, Schedule
American Idol Season 23 technically premieres on Sunday, March 9, but there was a 30-minute sneak peek after the Oscars on March 2. More episodes will be released each Sunday until the finale.
American Idol Season 23 Judges
This season of American Idol will see Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie on the judges’ panel. Underwood, who won Season 4 of American Idol in 2005, is the first contestant to return as a judge.
“It’s really cool to be on the other side of things,” said Underwood on Good Morning America. “To get to play music and sing is wonderful, and we get to help somebody, or many other people hopefully, achieve that.”
Ryan Seacrest will return as the show’s host.
