Buckle your seatbelts and get ready to dive into the heart-pounding world of Road House. After debuting at SXSW earlier this month, the Road House reboot, directed by Doug Liman, is one of the hottest streaming releases of the season. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, alongside a cast that includes Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor, Joaquim De Almeida, and Lukas Gage, Road House has finally premiered on Prime Video.

An update on the Eighties cult classic that originally starred Patrick Swayze, the 2024 Road House follows the tale of Gyllenhaal‘s character, Dalton, a former UFC fighter who, as Amazon puts it, “takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.” Here’s how to watch the new Road House movie online.

Road House: Trailer, Plot, Cast, Runtime, Rating

In the Amazon Original Road House, Gyllenhaal’s character tries to escape his past history as a UFC fighter and takes a gig at a Florida Keys roadhouse, run by Frankie, played by Jessica Williams.

According to Amazon, “She hires him to be her new bouncer in hopes of stopping a violent gang, working for crime boss Brandt (Billy Magnussen), from destroying her beloved bar. Even five to one, Brandt’s crew is no match for Dalton’s skills. But the stakes get higher with the arrival of ruthless gun-for-hire, Knox (Conor McGregor). As the brutal brawls and bloodshed escalate, the tropical Keys prove more dangerous than anything Dalton ever faced in the Octagon.”

The new Road House movie has a runtime of a little over two hours, and is rated R.
