Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve has been the biggest New Year’s celebration in the U.S. for half a century, but it’s not the only game in town. After what was a banner year for country music, Nashville will ring in 2025 with a blockbuster celebration of its own. New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash will air on CBS, and country fans looking to catch the special who don’t have cable or antenna TV can stream the event live with a Paramount+ with Showtime subscription.

Paramount+ is available in two tiers, and both offer free trials. The $12.99 Paramount+ with Essential package gets subscribers live access to their CBS affiliate, (where Nashville’s NYE special will air).
Prime members can get a discounted rate on Paramount+ for two months; subscribers can get Paramount+ with Showtime for $1.99/month for two months, from now until Jan. 2, when they sign up through their Prime account.
Contemporary country legends and breakout stars alike will be performing, including Keith Urban, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan, Shaboozey, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, and Post Malone. The four-hour show starts at 8 p.m., with a half-hour news break at 10 p.m. Part two will resume at 10:30, followed by the music note drop at midnight.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will also be heavy on country music, as Carrie Underwood, Megan Moroney, and Blake Shelton will be performing. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will air on ABC. If you’re looking to flip through the channels on New Year’s without cable or an antenna, your best bet will be a free trial to a live TV streaming service, such as DirecTV Stream.
