T-Mobile has always been known for their “perks” as a cell phone carrier, but now they’re looking to hook frequent concert and festival-goers alike with music benefits on benefits galore under their Magenta Status program. And if you’re sick of waiting on long venue queues or paying exorbitant ticketing fees, then it might just be worth the switch.

With a new set of rewards for subscribers (as well as the benefits already offered by T-Mobile Tuesdays, now on the T-Life app), Magenta Status goes far beyond what you might expect from a wireless carrier. While they’re already partnering with brands like Hilton, Hertz, and Dollar Car Rental for some sweet discounts, T-Mobile is also rolling out the red carpet to get you into concert venues faster, cheaper, and with more unforgettable experiences.

If you’re looking to switch carriers, or you’ve already been using T-Mobile for years you might be wondering what Magenta Status actually is. So let’s dig into the details on Magenta Status — what it is, how to sign up for it, and what kind of perks come you’ll get to feel like a real VIP.

What Is T-Mobile Magenta Status?

Assuming you’re already on a qualifying plan, there isn’t anything special you have to do to get Magenta Status, or any extra fees — think of it as just another “thank you” for using T-Mobile.

The new program adds discounts on top of the existing T-Mobile Tuesday promos, giving T-Mobile users a huge range of dining, travel, and entertainment perks. Some of the best include a $5 ticket to a different movie every month, discounts on certain car rental fees from Hertz and Dollar Car Rent, and 15% off rooms from Hilton hotel brands (Magenta Status also gets you Hilton Honors Silver for a full year).

Who’s Eligible for T-Mobile Magenta Status?

Magenta Status is available to all postpaid T-Mobile customers, and most prepaid customers for free. However, Metro by T-Mobile subscribers won’t be eligible for Magenta Status (customers do have access to some benefits though, like T-Mobile Tuesdays and other perks).

Best Music Perks With T-Mobile Magenta Status

Ready to go front row? T-Mobile is giving customers exclusive access to concert and festival tickets, and more entertainment benefits — just for being with T-Mobile. Magenta Status users can unlock 25% off tickets to more than 8000 shows at over 120 venues nationwide, from top artists like Luke Combs, Nelly, Chicago, and more, plus discounted tickets to this year’s Outlaw Music Festival. Bonus: you can also skip the line with special Fast Lane customer entrances at applicable shows.

With the summer festival season coming up, there’s never been a better time to get access to Magenta Status, too. You’ll get access to T-Mobile Magenta Pass, which is how you get into to some of the year’s hottest events — including Stagecoach, Lollapalooza, Watershed, Bourbon & Beyond, iHeartRadio Music Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix (T-Mobile Sphere Zone).

This is through exclusive access to T-Mobile Reserved Tickets, without having to wait for hours and hours in a virtual ticketing queue. You’ll be able to score the best seats in the house with tickets available 30 days before each scheduled show at 12 p.m. ET. This includes 3-Day GA passes for Stagecoach, where you’ll also receive an extra $50 e-gift card with each pass purchased. Depending on the venue, Magenta Pass can also get you access to premium views, so you can get up close and personal near the event stage, and let you relax exclusive lounges with charging tables, a private bar, and live event feeds, special photo-ops and free swag galore.

T-Mobile is also bringing Magenta Status users a first of its kind offer — tickets to the hottest residences on the Las Vegas strip. New shows will be added throughout the year, but right now you can see artists like Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, RuPaul’s Drag Race Vegas, Lenny Kravits, Mötley Crüe and more through this promotion.

This is all to say that even if you’re not live music fan or can’t make it to your favorite festival, T-Mobile’s existing promotions aren’t going anywhere. Magenta Status still includes Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV+ bundled with certain plans, and MLB.TV is still available with T-Mobile Tuesdays. So what are you waiting for? Find the best eligible T-Mobile plans to meet your needs at TMobile.com and start feeling like a VIP with Magenta Status today.
