The Weeknd has a had a busy year, kicking off his massive After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour with Playboi Carti and Mike Dean, along with releasing a Hurry Up Tomorrow companion film in theaters. So how does he manage to stay up after hours? With a cup of freshly-brewed Nespresso, no doubt.

Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye recently joined forces with the brew giant to co-create a brand new coffee blend inspired by his life offstage. Celebrating his Ethiopian roots, the “Samra Origins” collection (which is also named after his mother) is a “deeply personal” collaboration for the Timeless singer, which “reflects the richness of his past,” according to Nespresso’s website.

“Coffee runs deep in my family culture — it’s about gathering, sharing, reflecting,” Tesfaye said in a release. “That’s what Samra Origins and Nespresso mean to me — sharing a love of that tradition and making it accessible to many coffee lovers is truly incredible.”

Starting May 28, the Nespresso x Samra Origins by The Weeknd collection will be available online and in Nespresso boutiques featuring a new coffee, the Samra Origins “Togetherness Blend”, along with a limited-edition tumbler (there are also plans for more product releases later down the line this year).

The “Togetherness Blend” is a double espresso described as having sweet honey and woody notes, with a “deliciously smooth blend of lightly roasted African Arabicas”. The blend is available for $14.50 for a sleeve that contains 10 capsules, and is a 100% African Arabica blend that uses a mix of unwashed and washed beans. The washed arabicas are combined and light-roasted to preserve acidity and delicate fruity notes, while the unwashed beans are slightly roasted to develop body and intensity, according to the description.

If you’re a cold drink kind of person, the Samra Origins Iced Tumbler even comes with a recipe for The Weeknd’s personal iced latte, which is prepared with his blend over ice with oat milk, and vanilla syrup, honey and cinnamon stirred in. But no matter how you prepare your cup of Joe (cup of Abel?), these are Vertuo pods, which means you’re going to need a machine that brews them. Lucky for you, Nespresso has discounted most of their Vertuo espresso machines on Amazon and Target for up to 41% off right now (some even come with milk frother accessories).
