Fritz vs. Sinner Predictions, Odds, Matchup
While Fritz will have the hometown crowd — and dare we say, an entire country — behind him, most oddsmakers peg Sinner as the favorite to take home the 2024 U.S. Open crown. The Italian star is the number-one ranked player in the world and took home the Australia Open title earlier this year.
Fritz is the 12th-ranked player in the U.S. Open men’s draw and into his first-ever Grand Slam final after taking down fellow American Frances Tiafoe in a five-set semifinal thriller. The last U.S.-born men’s tennis player to reach the final match of a major tennis tournament: Andy Roddick at Wimbledon in 2009.
