Some albums are meant to be heard on a spinning turntable, and that’s exactly how Noah Kahan’s latest release lands. Officially dropped on April 24, The Great Divide marks the Vermont native’s fourth studio album and his first in four years, following the massive success of Stick Season.
Kahan first teased the new record back in 2024, debuting the title track live on tour. Now, fans can finally get their hands on it, with the vinyl available through major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and Urban Outfitters.

Retailing for just under $43 (depending on the seller), the vinyl edition features two discs, four sides, and a total of 17 tracks. It’s packaged with a rustic, understated cover — very much in line with Kahan’s New England-rooted aesthetic.
Rolling Stone gave The Great Divide a 4.5 out of 5 stars, with writer Jon Dolan noting: “These songs are impressive because they rarely sound like rich rock-star solipsism; they’re conversations with the past, in which the past talks back in the voice of actual people you may or not always miss, but actually love and can’t forget.”
Following the release, Kahan will hit the road from June 11 through August 31, bringing The Great Divide across North America. The tour includes a hometown stop at Fenway Park, with Gigi Perez joining as support (you can buy tickets here).
After racking up billions of streams on Spotify and earning a nomination at the Grammy Awards in 2024, Kahan’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. The Great Divide vinyl is already in demand and an Amazon best-seller, so if you’re planning to add it to your collection, now’s the time.
