Amazon’s annual Prime Big Deal Days sale (better known as October Prime Day) is best known for tech, home goods, clothing, and essentials, but there’s one category that’s often overlooked: streaming.
Just like Prime Day, the October Big Deal Days sale event delivers some serious savings and promotions on popular streaming services. Unlike most streaming services, Prime Video allows its subscribers to add other streaming services to their account as “channels.” It’s a great way to get all of your streaming services in one place — in the Prime Video app — and keep track of subscriptions under one login and bill. Every year for Prime Day, Amazon slashes prices on these streaming channel add-ons. That means you can add new streaming services to your Prime Video account for much less than usual.

Right now, Amazon is offering some great streaming deals for October Prime Day, which is happening now through midnight PT on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Amazon’s streaming deals include free trials to services that don’t offer them directly, discounts on your first year, or bundle deals. In other words, these Prime Day streaming deals are a great opportunity to save on something you’d likely be paying full price for otherwise.
To take advantage of the Prime Big Deal Days 2026 streaming discounts, you’ll need a subscription to Amazon Prime or Prime Video. The larger Amazon Prime subscription includes Prime Video access and will unlock a host of other perks like fast shipping and access to all the other deals during Prime Day. The overall Prime subscription starts with a 30-day free trial and costs $139 per year or $14.99 per month after the trial. The standalone Prime Video subscription costs $8.99 per month.

Paramount+ Free Trial
Paramount+ ended its free trial offer in January, but Amazon just brought it back for Prime Members looking to add the service to their plan. The free trial only applies to the Paramount+ Premium plan, and it lasts for seven days. After the trial, Paramount+ Premium costs $13.99 a month.
Paramount+ has built up a great catalog of on-demand content and live offerings. You’ll be able to stream TV shows like South Park and MobLand, franchises like Star Trek, and live events from CBS like NFL games.
Peacock Free Trial
Peacock also doesn’t offer a free trial directly, but you can get one through Prime Video. Sign up for the Peacock Premium Plus plan, and you’ll get a seven-day free trial before the service renews at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year.
Once signed up, you’ll be able to watch hits like Love Island, The Traitors, and The Office, plus live sports and events shown on NBC.

One of the biggest savings opportunities during October Prime Day is the AMC+ annual plan, which is marked down 63% to just $39.99 instead of its usual price of $109.99.
HBO Max, Cinemax Bundle
Another great way to save on streaming during October Prime Day is with a bundle like this HBO Max and Cinemax package. It costs $22.99 a month, down from $28.49.
STARZ, MGM+ Bundle
This STARZ and MGM+ bundle is another great one, offering savings on premium original content. Normally $19.98 a month, it’s down to just $13.99 when you get them together.
