The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens will face off for a week three game of the NFL season, with the teams traveling to Rio de Janeiro. It’ll mark the first time an NFL game is played in the city, as the League continues to push its global footprint with more international games. Last year, the Chargers played the Chiefs in São Paulo.

Alternatively, you can stream the game on Paramount+, which is more affordable but does not include a free trial.

Traveling to another country brings its own challenges, which the L.A. Rams learned the hard way in a Melbourne game against the San Francisco 49ers. The two West Coast teams took wildly different approaches to the stark time-zone difference, with the Rams landing barely two days before kickoff and the 49ers giving themselves nearly a week to adjust. The 49ers routed the Rams, 27-7.
In this case, both the Cowboys and Ravens traveled on Thursday for the Sunday game, as jet lag was less of a worry. The time-zone difference is only two hours for Dallas and one hour for Baltimore. Still, that doesn’t mean there aren’t challenges. Soccer players have previously questioned the quality of the field at Maracanã Stadium. Both the Ravens and Cowboys projected confidence nonetheless. “We have played on bad fields plenty of times,” Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said at a press conference on Wednesday, “so I cannot really dwell on that.”
The Dallas Cowboys are led by Brian Schottenheimer, who has been head coach since the 2025 season. Jesse Minter made his debut as the Ravens’ head coach this year, but is no stranger to the organization, having worked on the team’s defense from 2017-2020.
