Netflix recently dropped Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and it’s already gone viral, thanks in part to breakout personalities like Reece Weaver and Kelcey Wetterberg. But this isn’t the first time the iconic Texas-based squad has been in the spotlight.
From 2006 to 2021, CMT aired Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team for 16 seasons. The long-running series followed the same popular formula: spotlighting hopeful rookies and returning veterans as they navigated everything from high-stakes auditions and intense training camps to interview rounds (yes, Cowboys has an “s” at the end) and behind-the-scenes drama. If you want to see how the DCC we know and love today all started, we found the best ways to watch the original show online.
