Bang & Olufsen is known for exceptionally stylish — and exceptionally expensive — speakers and home audio equipment. The brand just revived a hi-fi turntable system that costs $30,000 and is limited to 100 units, but not every product the brand makes is the price of a crossover SUV.
The Beosound Explore is the brand’s portable and rugged Bluetooth speaker. It’s the ideal companion for every beach and park hang, and it’s currently $100 off, dropping the price to $149.00.

The speaker features up to 27 hours of battery life and a built-in carabiner and carrying strap for on-the-go listening. The IP67 dust and water resistant rating means it can handle sandy beaches or muddy trails with ease, but the stylish look makes it a great indoor music companion, too. The sturdy metal grille around the speaker adds protection and a high-end look, particularly in a sea of heathered fabric and plastic speakers.

If you’re listening them at home, the speakers can be used as a stereo pair for an immersive experience, and the sound profile can be customized in the B&O app. The onboard controls are simple; there’s a play/pause button, volume controls, a Bluetooth pairing button, and a power button. The speaker recharges via a USB-C port, and it does not have an auxiliary port.
The speaker is available in a range of stylish colors, including black, green, orange, and navy, which all have tonally matching clips and carrying straps. Most colors are on sale right now, although the price varies by color and retailer. It’s available from Amazon and Bang & Olufsen’s website.
