VPNs are one of the most popular ways to take control of your online security and privacy, but a monthly subscription can be expensive. Right now, however, NordVPN is running one of the best VPN deals on the internet. In addition to a 70% discount, the trusted service is offering subscribers a $20 Amazon gift card when they sign up.

There is (sort of) a catch. Both the 70% off deal and the Amazon gift card promotion only apply to NordVPN’s two-year plans. That means you’ll need to sign up upfront to take advantage of the discount. If you’re not ready to commit to two years, NordVPN’s plans are also discounted when you sign up for one year. The discounts apply to NordVPN’s Basic, Plus, Complete, and Prime plans.

Discounts are available on each of NordVPN’s plans when you sign up for a one-year or two-year plan.

NordVPN also offers month-to-month plans starting at $12.99 a month. These plans also come with a 30-day money-back guarantee if you don’t want to keep the service.

What is a VPN?

VPN stands for “virtual private network,” and it creates a private, secure connection by hiding your IP address. This protects your internet use from hackers, providers, and companies for more secure browsing without interruptions. NordVPN also blocks tracking, so you’ll see fewer intrusive ads.

VPNs are also handy for anyone who frequently travels or works using public WiFi, hiding user activity from potential hackers. And, if you have a favorite streaming service you can’t access on the go, a VPN can (virtually) bring you home.

NordVPN Plans

NordVPN has four plans to choose from. Basic offers a VPN with up to 10 devices secured, plus threat protection. The Plus plan adds anti-malware, browsing protection, and an ad blocker, and is NordVPN’s most popular offering.

Complete includes 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage, while Prime adds NordProtect for dark web monitoring, credit monitoring, and other threat protection.

NordVPN doesn’t offer a free trial, although it does offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try the service out and see if it’s right for you.
