Jay-Z hasn’t done a solo tour in nearly a decade, which is why his return to the stage was met with so much fanfare — and frustration from fans who weren’t able to snag tickets. Hov will perform his classic debut Reasonable Doubt on July 10 and The Blueprint on July 11 at Yankee Stadium, marking the albums’ 30th and 25th anniversaries, respectively.
Tickets for the performances, which went on sale on March 24, sold out quickly. The demand led to a third show being added on July 12, which is billed as “Extra Innings.” The third date, likewise, sold out on Ticketmaster, with only resale tickets available.

The July Yankee Stadium shows won’t be the only chance to see Jay-Z’s return to the stage — he’ll headline the Roots Picnic on May 30 in Philadelphia.
Jay-Z hasn’t released an album since 2018’s collaborative effort with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love, and his last solo album was 2017’s 4:44. Beyond that, he’s popped up on the occasional guest verse and had a smattering of appearances, including on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, but has otherwise kept a low profile for much of the last half decade.
Of course, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy, as the rapper and business mogul’s company Roc Nation has served as producer for the Super Bowl halftime show, leading to acclaimed performances from artists like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny.
Where to Buy Jay-Z Tickets
If you’re looking to buy tickets to Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium shows, the only remaining options are resale, including Ticketmaster’s verified resale, as well as third-party options, including StubHub, VividSeats, and SeatGeek. All of these platforms guarantee valid tickets, although there’s always some risk involved in buying from third-party sites. Here’s what you need to know about finding sold-out Jay-Z tickets.
StubHub
Tickets start at under $400 for the July 10 show, while the July 11 date for The Blueprint is more expensive on average, with upper sections in the $550 to $600 range.
Vivid Seats
VividSeats
Like on StubHub, the second and third dates are more in demand than the first. The Reasonable Doubt night on July 10 starts at around $250; the next night starts at $437, while the third night starts at just under $400.
SeatGeek
SeatGeek has tickets starting for slightly cheaper; the July 10 date starts at $310, the July 11 date starts at $536, while the July 12 date starts at $260. That said, prices can vary depending on whether you’re buying individual tickets or multiples.
TicketNetwork
Friday’s tickets start at around $330 for seats in the grandstand, while Saturday tickets start at roughly $600. Meanwhile, Sunday tickets start at around $290. You can get $150 off orders of $500 or more with code RS150 or $300 off purchases over $1,000 with RS300.
